Boys and girls: Under 8, 10, 12, 14 ,16 and 18 years: Two weight divisions per age group.

<8 Boys and Girls 30kg’s and under + OPEN; 10 Boys and Girls 35kg’s and under + OPEN; <12 Boys 40kg’s and under + OPEN <12 Girls 35kg + open; <14 BOYS 45kg’s and under + OPEN; <14 GIRLS 40kg’s and under + OPEN ; <16 BOYS 55kg’s and under + OPEN, <16 GIRLS 50kg’s and under + OPEN; <18 BOYS 60 kg’s and under + OPEN GIRLS 55kg’s and under + OPEN.

(AGE CRITERIA: <8 means you must be 8 years old or younger on the 18th June 2011 etc!)
(WEIGHT CRITERIA: 30kg’s and under means you must weigh 30kg’s or less, if over 30 kg’s you fight in the open in the under 8 division etc, etc.

ADULTS: Male and Female weight divisions:
Male 65kg, 77.5kg and OPEN
Female 55kg ,60kg and OPEN

It is  COMPULSORY for children and colts to wear protective “soft” shin pads and gloves. Protective headgear for the ALL under 8, 10, 12 and 14 athletes is compulsory (Head gear will be provided) Mouth guards are recommended. The wearing of headgear for the under 16 and 18 athletes is optional.
Girls and females are allowed to wear chest protectors, which must not cover the midriff, but the bust only.
NO protective gear for adults, except groin and gum protectors
